Keystone signs cooperative marketing agreement with AHS
September 5, Glenmoore, PA - Keystone Retaining Wall Systems, Inc. ® of Minneapolis, MN has entered into a cooperative marketing agreement with Advanced Hardscape Solutions LLC (AHS) of Glenmoore, PA to market and promote the use of AHS's proprietary Sleeve-It™ System as an accessory component to Keystone's retaining wall products. This agreement will facilitate distribution of the product through Keystone's global network of licensed concrete producers.
When installed during wall construction, the Sleeve-It™ System creates a structural fence post foundation cavity directly behind the wall face of a segmental retaining wall without affecting the integrity of the geosynthetic soil reinforcement (geogrid). A sufficient amount of geogrid is required to maintain internal stability and to satisfy horizontal equilibrium with soil forces behind the wall. Once the posts are installed, loads applied to the fence structure are transferred away from the wall face to the Sleeve-It™ cantilever component that uses the weight of the overlying compacted soil to counter the load. This engineered system provides a code compliant solution to satisfy concerns regarding safety, loss of valuable real estate, and lack of proper coordination during project planning.
